We continue learning more of the culture visiting a local family that opens the doors of their home to even cook for us a very traditional lunch. You’ll be able to practice the ancient technique of making tortillas.
We conclude our amazing day at one of the most important natural protected areas in Yucatan where a xaman welcomes us before hiking in the jungle to look for some wildlife like spider monkeys. A walk will also take you to an incredible view of the lake zip lining 250 meters
above. Canoeing will be the way to come back and finish this authentic
experience.
