Coba Archaeological Site
Discover one of the most important sites from the yucatan peninsula. The Mayan ruins of this site are unique and much can be learn about the ancient Maya and the architecture of the buildings situated among several lakes. Only a few of its estimated 6000 structures have been dicovered.

Punta Laguna
The nature reserve «Otoch Ma’ax yetel Kooh» is located in the Northeastern yucatan peninsula, north of the archaeological site of Coba and South of Nuevo Xcan in the Quintana Roo state.
The dominant vegetation is medium semi-evergreen forest, which covers approximately 93% of the total area, in the different successional stages. The site is better known for the spider monkey populations that are the main tourist attraction. A marvelous area where you can have a great day with the entire family looking not only for monkeys but also endemic and migratory bird species, caves and small ruins.

Nuevo Durango
Mayan village established by farmers and chicleros (people who extracted chicle resin from trees to make chewing gum, manilkara zapota) in 1952. Native mayan speakers preserving their culture and traditions have learned about the area conservation and natural resources to offer visitors unique experiences; organic gardens, local gastronomy, rappel into caves, and more. This company and staff are truly AMAZING. Not only do they truly appreciate and respect the earth, they are local Mayan Men from the local villages of Coba and Punta Laguna. You won't find a better more knowledgeable tour anywhere. I highly recommend that you take this tour as it includes but only the Coba Archaeological Site but the Punta Laguna Spider Monkey Reserve as well. It also includes a traditional Mayan lunch. You WILL NOT be disappointed!!

Booked a group tour with Jesus (Feb 2019). We couldn't have been happier with the tour! Our guide and Jesus were awesome! We learned about the area and had so much fun walking through the jungle to see the monkeys. Our tour included air conditioned transfers, a guided tour through the jungle with zip line, canoeing and swimming in their cenote. Jesus is so easy to work with and will do whatever he can to help you and make your visit special. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Get out and get some real culture and support this community!
