Mayan Immersion: A Journey Through Ancient Traditions and Natural Wonders
Explore the Coba ruins, delve into a hidden cenote, and savor a traditional Mayan lunch with a local family.

Begin your day visiting the mysterious archaeological site of Coba in the subtropical forest of Yucatan to discover an abandoned mayan kingdom considered as the second most important of the entire Mayan culture.
Cobá was built between 600 and 900 AD. A special feature of the zone are about 45 brick pathways-sacbejo’ob or ancient white roads that linked the site to more remote towns and settlements.
We follow up our visit to a hidden cenote run by a local community found in the heart of the jungle. An incredible place to swim and dive into the Mayan underworld. A close up to the importance of these magnificent formations which are still considered sacred by the locals.

We finish our day visiting a secluded family that opens the doors of their home to share with us a very traditional lunch cooked with organic products from their garden.
You’ll also master skills making corn tortillas and even acquire the knowledge of the botanical garden used by the family since ancient times.
